Our group started with the first NO KINGS in 2025 when we didn’t want to drive ‘all the way’ into Sedona to attend a protest. My sister, Ali, and I visited the local sheriff’s office to let them know we were having a NO KINGS event but there might only be 2 of us. The woman waiting behind us said she’d join! We ended up with 75 people. After several more protests, Jen and I decided to join the Indivisible movement and became Indivisible VOC Bell Rock Resistance.
Since then we have tried to have an event at least once a month, unless there is something needing immediate response such a Venezuela invasion, deaths of ICE observers in MN, War in Iran, continuing Epstein transparency. Seems like a lot to protest about but we do it with flare, music, flags and fun! Don’t miss out! Our Village of Oak Creek community is alive and standing up for Democracy.
and so lucky to be in this beautiful place. Let’s do all we can to protect it and our country!
